The world is too small and everybody wants to go to the same few hot spots. 20yrs ago we went to Venice on a whim in August and it was empty. Today it would be a nightmare.
Instagram has done a lot of damage
All these people were waiting in a f*cking one hour line under the sun, at 2PM, with a UV index of 9... All just to get “the Santorini Instagram photo” with the blue dome in the background...
