What stage of the cycle is this?
The only thing 'hard' about a hardware wallet is trying to keep your funds secure
We have some difficult news to share. Unfortunately, one of our shipping providers has experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive order data. This affects new customers in the US, UK, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal who received an order within the 90 days prior to August 8th, 2026. The data exposed: - Full names - Shipping addresses - Phone numbers - Email addresses The incident affects 11,742 customers with full exposure (name, email, phone number, shipping address) and 1,947 customers with partial exposure (name, city, email). The breach is limited due to Trezor’s strict 90-day data storage policy (we were also able to negotiate the same terms with fulfillment partners, who follow the same policy). All affected customers have been contacted separately by email. Our systems and devices remain secure, but affected customers could experience an increase in phishing attempts. NEVER enter your wallet backup on a website or share it with anyone, and only check for updates on official Trezor channels. We are deeply sorry to the community and those affected. We are investigating this situation and will post updates on our blog:

The algo is particularly punishing at the moment Can’t tell if it’s crypto related or X’s new original content rewards programme that is suppressing impressions Either way, I can’t stop and I won’t stop The ticker is ethereum:native

You are not bullish enough on $ETH, anon
Fidelity filed to stake up to 100% of its $898M ETH fund. The yield is not extracted from @ethereum. It is payment for securing the chain. Nearly 35% of $ETH staked, an ATH, 880,000 validators & 11+ years, no halt. Every new staker raises the cost of attack. That's security that compounds and can't be replicated.

Don’t worry if your A level results are a bit disappointing. I got a C and two Us. And this evening I shall sit in my agreeable garden, drinking beer from my own brewery and eating food from my own farm. Prepared by my own chef.

Live TV still has this community feel - think World Cup And occasionally there is a series that releases an episode a week and gets a cult following But otherwise everything is downstream of ‘on demand’ And the common theme behind these examples is not being in control A series you can binge watch on demand; you are in control But there is no delayed gratification and less suspense; you don’t have to wait and then have time to discuss it with others if you don’t want to Not to mention we are now spoilt for choice Fewer options increased the likelihood of people watching the same things, but now there is so much content that it’s a chore to stay on top of things Unfortunately I don’t think there’s any way back

the value of watching TV is so low now before (back before streaming), you’d be participating in a common cultural moment. if everyone was watching a show, you wanted to watch it too. so there was some sort of a shared social element now everyone watches their own shows on their own time. every once in a while, you maybe find something you and your significant other can really dive into for a while otherwise, almost everything becomes missable, save for a couple of shows a year (at least that’s how i feel) would rather spend that time playing strategy or story-driven video games tbqh (which have been unfairly maligned and are cognitively one of the better forms of entertainment)

top fees generator what do you notice?
It’s no wonder the general population thinks crypto is all a scam if even those deep in the Ethereum trenches get sick of it
I love Ethereum, but I kind of hate crypto. 🤷‍♂️
Ethereum is what every other chain hopes to be Lesson in there

“I AI’d this” doesn’t quite have the same ring
We stopped saying "it’s Photoshop" and started saying "it’s AI." End of an era. Photoshop, thanks for the memories.
This isn’t a great take to be honest Unilateral decision making is what we want to get away from, not changes full stop Changes going through a vigorous governance process are not bad - that’s exactly what you want You want the whole community engaged and discussing it, you want every stakeholder to have a voice What you don’t want is a small group of individuals making the rules, like a monetary policy committee Yes, too many changes are bad as there needs to be stability But the wanting or needing to change shouldn’t be the issue here, it should be that the proposed change isn’t fit for purpose (And it’s also ironic because Bitcoin *needs* to change in order to provide security to BTC)

"This creates a zero chance that they choose Ethereum" Mike Silagadze from EtherFi emphasising no nation states will choose Ethereum if Ethereum's rules can be changed by a vote "There's a reason El Salvador chose Bitcoin as their national reserve asset, and that reason was largely because it's ossified, we know what it's going to do whether you like it or not. It's very predictable, we can trust it. There's not going to be some rug through some governance process that's going to suddenly dramatically change Bitcoin's properties. The founder is long gone and dead, this is a system we can rely on" "The way this process was run with Ethereum is the opposite of that. Imagine you're a nation state considering, should we go all in on Bitcoin or all in on Ethereum. Ethereum already has the credibility that among smart contract platforms it is the most secure, the most stable, the most credibly neutral, but this is a way to undermine that"
