Dear Lord, our Father, give us the courage to face any challenges that may come our way, and to always remember that You are with us every step of the way. Let us be a source of inspiration and hope to others, and bring Your light to a world filled with despair and darkness. David stated, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” He, and so many others have left legacies of Your encouraging word despite their shortcomings and sins. Lord, may we follow in their footsteps, following You despite our imperfections. Adjust our expectations through Your perspective. Give us counsel and guide us with Your word. Help us to rise above our personal circumstances and place our confidence in Your goodness and compassion. Holy Spirit, remind us that we can do all things through You, for You are our strength and rock. Through Jesus Christ we pray, Amen 🙏✝️ Joshua 1: 9 “Have not I commanded thee? Thought For Today: “God’s Ways Aren’t Ours” God has a much better perspective than we do because He can see what we can’t. He knows the future, and we don’t. The Apostle James said, “But your job is to obey the law, not to judge whether it applies to you.” (James 4:11b) We’re not capable of seeing as God sees. He’s infinite, and we’re finite! He’s all-knowing, and at our best, we know we don’t know. So we need to trust God and His word. The Lord said, “‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.’” (Isaiah 55:8-9)

God wants us to continue to grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally, and He has provided the way for us to do this through reading and studying His Word. This is where we renew our minds, and learn even more about Him and His truth. God is great in the powerful name of Jesus Amen. Have an amazing day!

Good morning everyone! I trust everyone slept well and is ready to “get at it”. 😊. I love today’s verse. It reminds me of the hymn “He owns the cattle on a thousand hills..”. These verses show Gods dominion. He knows all the animals. He set creation in motion. If he cares for them, how much more does he care for us? Wow! Blessings to you all!! . ✝️🙏🏻🇺🇸

You can tell a lot about where your faith is by listening to yourself under pressure. Jesus never promised us an easy life. “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 James says trials test our faith and produce endurance. Paul says fight the good fight of faith. Trouble is coming. That part is settled. The question is what comes out of you when it does. “I can’t believe this is happening.” “I can’t believe they did that.” “I don’t know how we’re going to make it.” “Nothing ever works out.” Sound familiar? Some of them sound familiar to me too... I’m not above this. I have to catch myself. When my flesh starts getting loud, I’ve learned to pay attention. Jesus said out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Your mouth will eventually expose what your heart has been rehearsing. For me, the complaint is usually covering something I’m still trying to control. Some outcome I decided had to go my way. Some weight God never told me to carry. That’s why James doesn’t just say resist the devil. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7 Submission comes first. That’s not passivity. That’s coming under His authority so you can actually stand. We’re not promised a life without pressure. We’re called to live from the victory of Christ in the middle of it. You can be hurt without building your identity around the hurt. You can be under pressure without letting pressure rule you. You can walk through a trial without handing the trial the throne. You may have been made a victim by what happened to you. In Christ, victim is not your name. When I catch myself slipping into constant frustration, fear, or complaint, I’ve stopped asking only why this is happening to me. I start asking what I’m still clutching. Then I name it before the Lord and I give it back. I refuse to keep preaching the circumstance to myself as if it has the last word. Faith doesn’t pretend the pressure isn’t real. It just won’t let the pressure become lord. A heart that’s actually submitted starts rehearsing something else. Who God is. What He’s already done. What He promised. So when the pressure hits, listen to yourself. What is this revealing in me that still hasn’t been submitted to God? You can go through it without becoming it.

1 Corinthians Chapter 11 “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you. But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God. Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head, but every wife who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, since it is the same as if her head were shaven. For if a wife will not cover her head, then she should cut her hair short. But since it is disgraceful for a wife to cut off her hair or shave her head, let her cover her head. For a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man. For man was not made from woman, but woman from man. Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. That is why a wife ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man nor man of woman; for as woman was made from man, so man is now born of woman. And all things are from God. Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a wife to pray to God with her head uncovered? Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him, but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering. If anyone is inclined to be contentious, we have no such practice, nor do the churches of God. But in the following instructions I do not commend you, because when you come together it is not for the better but for the worse. For, in the first place, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you. And I believe it in part, for there must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognized. When you come together, it is not the Lord’s supper that you eat. For in eating, each one goes ahead with his own meal. One goes hungry, another gets drunk. What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I commend you in this? No, I will not. That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died. But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be judged. A Scripture and a Prayer: “A Light For Our Darkness” “I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.” (John 12:46) Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, into this world to illuminate our hearts, souls, and spirits, so that we can walk in the light of Your love rather than in the darkness of this lost and sin-filled world. This was Your prophetic word, saying, “The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. Those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them." (Isaiah 9:2) Therefore, Jesus, be the light for our feet so that we can travel down the path You have laid out for us. AMEN
