Another robot that can additively manufacture! 🖨️
A clever take on 3D printing from
@ABBRobotics and Massive Dimension.
Their cell combines an ABB GoFa arm with a filament extruder, giving you true 6-axis FDM printing, without the usual complexity.
It’s designed for education, so setup is simple: RobotStudio handles the CAD-to-toolpath workflow in under 30 minutes, and everything runs on standard low-voltage power.
The GoFa brings safety built-in with torque sensors on every joint, while the MDAC1 frame adds a heated bed, direct-drive extrusion, and a 21.5” x 21.5” x 20” build volume.
A compact, movable cell that lets explore printing far beyond the limits of standard XYZ machines.
