There used to be so many ways to make some extra money in crypto while working a regular job. Even just looking at the more recent ones: Binance Alpha farming, yapping, simple airdrop tasks, all those token sales. Opportunities where showing up and putting in the time mattered a lot more than being a talented trader. You didn’t have to be good at trading to make money. Now, I’m not so sure what’s left for people like that. To me, the UMIA sale was the last opportunity that really felt like one of those. Most of what’s left doesn’t feel like something you can keep up with alongside a full-time job. Complicated arb setups. Spending all day hunting spot-perp gaps. Bridging, bridging, and more bridging just to capture a $20 difference in BTC between Hyperliquid and another exchange. I miss when being willing to put in the work was enough to give you a real shot. I wonder how many other people miss that too.
