HR called me into a meeting on a Tuesday morning and told me there had been a complaint about my behavior at work. I was shocked. I’d never received a warning before. They wouldn’t tell me who complained, only that I needed to “be more careful about how I communicate.”
I asked for examples. They showed me screenshots of messages I’d supposedly sent to a coworker. The messages were rude and completely out of character. I immediately knew something was wrong because I’d never written them. I checked my account and discovered someone had logged in from another device.
