There is no better way for @SpaceX to provide coverage indoors other than @helium offload!
What the @SpaceX wireless plan gets right, and the 80% it leaves out... Satellite coverage closes gaps cell towers never could: across oceans, rural areas, supply lines. But 80% of mobile data lives indoors, where signals from space can fail. That's where Helium comes in.

With its people-built, decentralized Network already solving for indoor connectivity, Helium is THE intelligent layer between satellite, macro towers, and Wi-Fi networks. Read the full story 🛰️👇

.@SpaceX just spent $19.6B on 65 MHz of spectrum and said it will build its mobile network with small cells on rooftops instead of towers, saying explicitly, “you deploy that as you need it.” Sound familiar? The most valuable private company in the world looked at the macro tower model and...passed. Their plan? Distributed radios on buildings, deployed incrementally, close to where people actually use data. It’s an endorsement of decentralized networks by the biggest challenger to traditional telco. Do satellites solve the universal connectivity problem? Not entirely on their own. Satellites are are good at covering things like oceans, highways, rural dead zones, and disaster areas. But what physics will not let them do is deliver capacity indoors, where most mobile data is actually consumed. Satellite signals do not pass through buildings, and 65 MHz stretched across a continent cannot carry a city at rush hour. Indoor connectivity has to be built from the ground up. Radio by radio, building by building, by people who are already there. It is the hardest part of wireless to replicate and the one part satellites fall short. So to @SpaceX @Starlink @Gwynne_Shotwell, welcome to decentralized wireless infrastructure! You handle the sky and when your customers walk inside, the @helium Network is already there for a smooth handoff 🤝. Source:

📢 Governance Notice for veHNT Holders 📢 If you've delegated your veHNT position, that delegation expires tonight, August 1 at 00:00 UTC (or at your position's lockup end, if that came sooner). Once it expires, your position stops earning delegation rewards, and rewards for the days after expiry are never accrued to your position at all. They aren't held for you and can't be recovered later, so renew today. (Rewards you earned while delegated never expire; you can claim those whenever.) ➡️ Renewing is simple: it's a one-click extension, not a full re-delegation. Go to the Governance section on or the Helium Wallet app (iOS / Android), and hit extend on your delegation. That's it. No need to un-delegate or claim anything first. It extends in place and keeps earning through next August 1, 2027 (or your lockup end, whichever comes first). ➡️ If you miss tonight's deadline: The one-click extend won't be available anymore. You'll have to claim all outstanding epochs, un-delegate, then delegate again from scratch, and you'll permanently lose rewards for every day you're expired. Don't put it off. ➡️ Separately: check your proxy, but only if you use one. If you've assigned someone to vote on your behalf, that proxy assignment also expires tonight and needs to be re-assigned. This matters for rewards: each daily epoch's rewards are only paid if your position voted on at least 2 of the 4 most recent HNT proposals (votes cast by your proxy count the same as your own). A proposal that's still open also counts in your favor; you're only penalized for proposals you let close without voting. If your position falls below the threshold, that epoch's rewards are burned when claimed, permanently, not withheld. So either keep an active proxy or vote on proposals yourself. If you vote directly, you don't need a proxy at all. *⃣ A few practical notes: • Changes take effect at the next daily rewards epoch (UTC midnight), so allow up to ~24 hours before they show up. • Keep at least ~0.01 SOL in your wallet for transaction fees. • If you have "autoclaim" on and you don't vote, turn autoclaim off. "Autoclaim" claims each epoch shortly after it closes, and if your position is below the 2-of-4 voting threshold at that moment, the claim burns that epoch's rewards immediately. Claiming manually lets you vote on any still-open proposal first. Also, on smaller positions the per-claim crank cost can exceed the HNT claimed, so manual claiming on a longer interval may be cheaper regardless.

Carriers are cutting infrastructure spending. Demand keeps climbing. That gap is what Helium exists to fill: real people building coverage where carriers won't. Protecting what builders earn is what keeps it growing. Read more about the earnings safety net 👇.

Incredible work by @SarahAberg1 testifying before the House Financial Services Committee on the CLARITY Act. Throughout the hearing, it was widely understood @helium's impact in connecting millions of people to the internet daily, and the need for CLARITY in regulations to accelerate that impact. Thank you Sarah! Onwards 🫡

New Expansion Zones just dropped in Helium World 👀. The big carriers need more coverage for phone users in these areas. Helium's people-built approach fills that gap. This drop includes major NYC landmarks: MSG. Radio City. Grand Central. Javits Center. Port Authority 🗽. Individuals can deploy Hotspots in Expansion Zones. Or venues inside the Zones can convert their existing Wi-Fi into part of the Helium Network. No new hardware needed. See every Expansion Zone at
