YETI flight heading back to CENTCOM after visit to Germany #IranWar‌# The 3 US KC-46A "Pegasus" tankers that arrived into Ramstein Airbase (ETAR) in Germany the other day as "YETI15/16/17" are on their way back into CENTCOM as two groups this afternoon. "REACH286" has filed to Al-Udeid Airbase (OTBH) in Qatar, while both the other tankers might still be using YETI call-signs, suggesting they might head to Tel Aviv (LLBG) or Ovda (LLOV). A Hamas commander who held three Israelis hostage in Gaza during the war was killed in a strike in the Strip's south yesterday, the IDF announces. The strike in Khan Younis killed Ismail Mohammed Ibrahim Barim, who, according to the IDF, took part in holding Edan Alexander, Matan Zangauker, and Avera Mengistu hostage in southern Gaza. The IDF justifies the strike amid the ceasefire by saying that Barim had recently advanced attacks on troops and Israeli civilians, as well as acted to restore Hamas capabilities, "while systematically violating the ceasefire." "The strike was carried out to remove the threat," the army adds.

The bodyguard of late Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and another terrorist who invaded Israel during the October 7, 2023, onslaught were killed in separate strikes in the southern Gaza Strip this week, the military announces. A strike on Sunday in Khan Younis killed Hazem Musa, who the IDF says was a member of Hamas's elite Nukhba Force. On October 7, Musa raided the IDF's Re'im Base on the border with the Strip, the military says. Another strike in Khan Younis, on Monday, killed Razek Sahil Suleiman Abu Shahma, also a Nukhba Force terrorist who invaded the Re'im Base on October 7, according to the IDF. Abu Shahma also previously served as the bodyguard of Sinwar, the military says. The IDF justifies the strikes amid the ceasefire by saying that both terrorists had been advancing attacks on troops and civilians, as well as trying to restore Hamas capabilities, "all in violation of the ceasefire agreement." The strikes were carried out to "remove the threat," the military adds.

Cool that you are teaching your kids about Linux, but I have a big problem with Linux's NEW users: They spend hours and hours on customization instead of using it as a daily driver, you see thousands of videos on YouTube people showing their "FANCY" DE with "COOL" widgets. Meanwhile, operating systems like MacOS provide a normally acceptable DE that can't be easily customized, so the user can focus on an actual usage of the computer instead of fucking around with customizations. Reminds me of the restaurants with fixed menus that prevent hours and hours of confusion per day and kinda FORCE the customer to stick to their together-time instead. Maybe, just maybe, this is why the Linux Mint is quite successful and popular.
