The new IMAX Keighley camera that was on display before the junket screening of THE ODYSSEY.
It was way smaller in person than I expected, and it’s really simple to operate based on the layout. This is the best film camera on the planet.
Hope more filmmakers give it a spin.

THE DEATH OF ROBIN HOOD has one of the most brutal and beautiful fight scenes of the year.
i asked director Michael Sarnoski how they shot it.
the original iconic BACKROOMS photo was yellow because the camera incorrectly white balanced.
you can easily recreate the look by pushing your camera very warm to create a similar feel without editing.
this subway station in Toronto actually has white walls.
