A major milestone for Infleqtion: 30 entangled logical qubits, working together in a single computation on Sqale. Using just 80 physical qubits, Infleqtion has delivered its 2026 roadmap milestone, becoming the first neutral-atom quantum computing company to reach 30 logical qubits on a commercial system. Congratulations to our Sqale hardware and Superstaq software teams on an extraordinary achievement. Their co-design made this possible, alongside an AI-assisted discovery that halves the physical gates needed for a key logical operation. Fewer gates mean fewer chances for error as we push toward larger, more complex computations. Next stop: 100 logical qubits in 2028, with customer application development already underway. Infleqtion is among the first organizations using @nvidia's new CUDA-Q Logical to develop more efficient quantum error correction codes. By integrating Infleqtion's qLDPC open-source library with the platform, our researchers constructed and validated a code in software that encodes 18 logical qubits in 98 physical data qubits. That is approximately six physical data qubits per logical qubit, representing about five times the code rate of the surface-code approach used for comparison. The team also brought the code into a working compiler pipeline. We develop the code and the machine together, working to preserve the code’s efficiency through the physical operations and error decoding a working system requires. The potential is more computational power from fewer physical qubits, and a smaller hardware burden on the path to utility scale. Congratulations to the NVIDIA team on the launch of CUDA-Q Logical. The path to large-scale quantum advantage runs through connected quantum systems. Infleqtion is collaborating with @Cisco to explore how neutral-atom quantum computers and sensors can connect into scalable, distributed quantum networks. Our neutral-atom technology computes, stores quantum memory, senses and interfaces naturally with light, providing a strong foundation for linking quantum devices within Cisco’s network architecture. NASA has awarded Infleqtion a $20 million follow-on contract for the Quantum Gravity Gradiometer Pathfinder mission, bringing NASA’s total investment in Infleqtion's work for this program to $40 million. Working with @NASAJPL, Infleqtion will design, build, and test key components for the world’s first space-based quantum gravity sensor, including testing the system in microgravity at the Einstein Elevator (@hitec_elevator) in Germany. The @NASA-led mission is expected to launch in 2030 and could help enable future tools for monitoring water, ice, and natural resources from low Earth orbit. Learn more:
