In the whole of Afrobeats right now, I genuinely don’t see who can stand in front of Wizkid and lecture him about his craft. But flip the table, and Wizkid has enough experience, success and musical knowledge to advise Burna Boy, Davido, Rema, Tems, Asake, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Mavin artists, 2Baba, P-Square and an entire generation of African artists.
That’s the level Wizkid has reached musically. 🦅🐐
It takes BTS to complain before people
finally realizing Big Wiz was 100% right back in 2022 when he said the Grammys are just boxing African artists into a corner.
Giving Tyla the win over "Gimme Dat" and "MMS" proves the Academy doesn't actually understand Afrobeats culture. They just want the flavor without giving Nigeria the main stage glory.
Rival fanbases can argue all they want, but Wizkid’s old interview is aging like fine wine.
LET US PRAY 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾
Dearest Jesus, I submit my words to You.
Please fill my mind with thoughts that honor You and other people, so that my words will bring life and encouragement to everyone I encounter.
Transform me into a new person by changing the way I think, and the way I speak.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen 🙏🏾
Money lost can be earned again. Time lost is gone forever.
You know how much money is left. You'll never know how much time is left.
Spend both wisely, but value time more.
