big green candles can be as scary as big red candles, especially after it has been so long
the first reaction for many is 'omg when should i sell'
and i understand this. seeing profit after so much pain is enchanting, and after such an aggressive move it is very likely to get liq's to the downside along the way
last cycle i fell for the same trick and had to buy/sell several times along the way. i did very well, but i added a lot more room for potential failure and had to deal with a lot of unnecessary stress monitoring charts as a result
i was also able to swallow my pride and buy back higher, but most are not able to do so. all prices above your sale price will feel expensive, prices below will fill you with greed, and it is not easy to pay a premium to enter back into the same position
my new thesis is very simple: if i do not believe the cycle high to be in, or close, then i have zero interest in selling
the unit values of the coins i hold (BTC, HYPE) are the most important thing to me and i will not melt my positions down by trying to over-optimise
the questions to ask yourself are, are you a proven profitable trader? do you believe the cycle high is in?
if the answer to these questions is no, then simply enjoy the ride, or you can always slightly reduce your position to feel more comfortable if overexposed. being too exposed can lead to bad decisions
when i exit i will make it known, but i intend on simply enjoying the ride for a long time to come
have a great weekend everyone 🩵
