the best habit you can form rn is to stop bookmarking things if you have the time to just read them your attention span is a daily battle that is constantly decreasing, you need to pump up your attention tyres daily find a substack that you enjoy and read it each week, pick up a book or just go through your bookmark graveyard if you don't do these things your brain will atrophy and you won't be able to form deeper discussion anymore your brain adopts the 250 character limit

meme coins serve one singular purpose imo to create new pvp liquidity for a short period of time. it's just a game of chicken. greater fool theory in its finest form everyone knows ansem's token will go to zero but before it does there will be ppl who advocate and passionately defend it being undervalued there will be ppl who are mad bc they missed opportunity and will screech there will be insiders who make fortunes there will be retards who lose all their money then blame the world there will also be many who roundtrip all their gains bc they really believed even when they told themselves it was just a trade i would argue that the token has already done it's job now, it went up a bit and ppl traded it. that's all it needed to do, now it's up to others to figure out when it inevitably goes to zero this is always the way. i don't like how ansem operates and i am absolutely not interested in his token but there is no crying in the casino. of course there are insiders, of course there are extractors, of course ppl will lose and make a lot of money, of course he'll stop caring at some point this is none of my concern, i am at peace with missing opportunity. i miss it every day, that's how blessed i am. we are that close to opportunity every day, how amazing is that? often times i have fear of participating more than fear of missing out, and this is one of those times glhf bros. try not to lose money on things you would hate yourself on if it goes down, especially when there are many coins that will be trading a lot higher than they currently are ily

no crying in the casino the crypto exchange business is essentially just getting ppl to gamble and offering different products for them to do so it's not nice to trojan horse ppl into gambling addictions but users should be educated enough to understand gambling on sports is gambling on sports

Talked to a user (a vulnerable, young, unsophisticated, financially poor user) who has the Coinbase app, and it has started prompting them to gamble on sports and the price of Bitcoin. I hate this with a burning passion and it makes me ashamed to be part of this industry.

It's hard to compare robotics companies and their valuations to each other. Saying one is cheaper than the other for the most part is extremely difficult to do. Which is what I am seeing in a lot of posts. There are really big design differences, like bipedal vs fixed or general vs specialized. Which changes tam Bipedal is the hardest and a bet on generality. So the tam for this is basically saying "all of human labor" but also it means no real niche. So its a competition for all. A fixed robot has a smaller tam but is easier to defend. So we get a premium for bipedal. You can't compare it to a fixed robot. Its why you see Figure trade so much higher. And why you can't really compare figure to the others. You have to compare each robotics company to same in class essentially

just finished a lil jords 2.0 retreat. had a lovely time off tech and enjoyed mindful time. as i discussed in this article, it doesn't need to be a 7 day retreat, even an hour home alone but intentionally without your phone is healing it's crazy how much my phone is in the front of my mind if it's near me. as i write this my phone is resting face up on my desk and i am acutely aware of my proximity to it, i can feel it's gravitational pull yesterday i turned my phone off and put it in another room, immediately out of sight out of mind i did not think of it and the colour returned to the world again have a great weekend everyone!! make sure to make some time for yourself ily 🩵

living in a city is for wealth generation, living on the coast is for enjoying the wealth created i could never live in a city again personally. people have time where i live, they value flexibility. i can make last minute plans or just ask if anyone is free for a coffee and people are. my days are unpredictable and lovely as a result my girlfriend lived in a city her whole life and if we try to make plans with her friends everyone is busy, everything needs to be planned months in advanced spontaneous connection and socialising is the most beautiful thing in the world, i could never spend time somewhere where ppl aspire to be busy and that is usually what happens in cities

Living in a big city is crucial for everything. Better jobs, more high IQ people, more risk takers, prettier people, in general just way more opportunities in every aspect of life. It also increases your probability of luck finding you.
