I have to put some bets down on chains that are gonna get adopted. I now know with certainty that ETH will not be the, in my view, the standard across all 11 sectors, primarily because a lot of people think it's too slow. They’re looking for much faster transactional speeds with variance of volumes. You can see that working on Solana and Avalanche. Avalanche has this multi-chain advantage which may be of interest to industry. There's a lot of interesting things going on so now all of us are gonna be forced to take on positions because we simply don't know. Investors make changes all the time. We're always rebalancing when the facts change.

The biggest killer of investment value is too much leverage. You can have a great company or real estate project, but when you’re overleveraged and the market turns against you, your equity can get wiped out fast. Leverage is not always your friend. You have to use it sometimes, but once you’re taking on more than 30% leverage, you should understand exactly how much risk you’re putting on the table.

I think the @MarkJCarney is going to have to deem that a project of national importance and get it an accelerated path to permit otherwise no investors will take the risk. I think the Canadian taxpayers will end up paying for this one and it will be a good 35 billion investment long term

Attended the first ever Canadian global investment confrence in #Toronto#. It was like @ABCSharkTank The premiers of each province were pitching investors their deals. Everyone asked the same question. What is the path to permit? The country is trying to emerge out of an economic coma because foreign investment in new infrastructure ground to a halt over the last decade. I predict two provinces will be the winners of this pitch competition. #Alberta# with oil and an abundance of low cost natural gas electrical generation projects and #2# #Saskatchewan# with mega #potash# and #uranium# deals. The rest of the provinces did a poor job articulating the timeline to permit on their projects. You can't invest if it takes decades. #IRR# is all about time. Prime Minister @MarkJCarney has his work cut out for him!

I don't know what to say about it. I remember years ago I landed in LA and there was the driver had the sign up and it said Mr. Wonderful on it. He didn’t even know my real name. That's how bad it's gotten. So I just live with it. But I’ll tell you this though, my wife does not call me Mr. Wonderful.

Consultants should be very worried about AI. Too many spend years advising businesses without ever making decisions of consequence themselves. Eventually, that becomes a problem. AI is already replacing a lot of the work they do, and if you want to lead, you need to learn how to make real decisions, take responsibility, and live with the outcome.
