The Supreme Court just granted an emergency appeal from Missouri organizers barring the use of the Republican-backed congressional maps in the midterms.
The order marks the second time this week the court has denied the use of the gerrymandered maps.

The Supreme Court just rejected a last-ditch effort by Missouri Republicans to use their new congressional map for the midterms.
That leaves in place a Missouri Supreme Court ruling from last week that said the map could not be used while a ballot initiative moves forward that could lead to the redrawn map being tossed out by voters.
