Less change leads to more confidence in the system’s long-term properties.
I fail to see how cutting issuance again will change anything.
The Merge cut issuance by roughly 90%. ETH/BTC has still fallen by more than 60% since then.
As a former genesis solo staker, I’m skeptical that another cut is the answer. Institutions can absorb tiny yields; home stakers cannot.
What evidence shows that solo stakers won’t be pushed out first?
