Our schools are still preparing children for an assembly-line economy that no longer exists. Students are taught to choose between A or B, follow the rubric, and wait for someone else to tell them the "right" answer.
But real life doesn't work that way. Employers need people who can think creatively, solve problems, adapt to change, remain emotionally resilient, and find a third or fourth solution when the obvious choices fail. They aren't looking for people who simply follow a script, they're looking for people who can think critically, adapt, and solve problems independently.
That is what education should be building.

A child feeling uncomfortable in his or her own body should be met with patience, love, and time, not immediately pushed toward medical intervention. Especially in the age of social media, young people are constantly comparing themselves to an impossible version of perfection and wondering why they don’t measure up.
None of us looks in the mirror every day and sees exactly what we wish we saw. That discomfort is part of being human. Our job should be to help children build confidence in who they are, not teach them that changing their bodies is the answer. Jihadists and other ideological movements can benefit when nations stop defending their borders, allow unchecked immigration, embrace multiculturalism without assimilation, and surrender their education system to political activism.
