Since I’ve been chatting with the HyperLend team, I’ve always thought that they had their ideas and priorities clear. There is nothing worse than a founder without conviction, and Ness is not one of them. “So no, HyperLend isn't dead. The mission is the same. We're doubling down and going bigger.” gLend. Higher.

Hey everyone, I'm long overdue for a response to the recent Hyperliquid updates, and judging by the number of DMs I've gotten, a lot of people are still wondering whether it's over for HyperLend. I can say confidently that we're not going anywhere. Once portfolio margin went live on Hyperliquid, it was always going to make sense for them to eventually enable borrowing for other purposes and deploy that themselves. Hyperliquid is Hyperliquid and HyperLend is HyperLend. Both have their pros and cons, and both are built for specific use cases. HyperLend's credit venue is far more efficient, and it already enables borrowing against a wide range of collateral types: crypto assets today, equities and commodities soon. The next big thing for us is Aviya, our institutional arm, built for white-glove service in a compliant environment. It offers fixed-rate on-chain credit running on the same codebase as HyperLend, which has originated $2B+ in loans since deployment. Aviya extends that to an even wider range of collateral, including high-yield bonds and securities. So no, HyperLend isn't dead. The mission is the same. We're doubling down and going bigger. gLend.
