Florida prodigy Nathan Thomas has now officially broken a 306-year-old record on the way to becoming the world's youngest professor. Thomas will be teaching a engineering class at Miami Dade College, at age 18 and 346 days in August 2023.
The previous record-holder was Colin Maclaurin in began teaching mathematics at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland in 1717.
Thomas had graduated from Miami Dade College at the age of 14 with a associate degree in mathematics.
