I think it’s very important to respect the alternative subcultures and the history of them.. but a huge part of being in any subculture is to find a space where you feel like you can be yourself and be accepted.. not be a group of mean bullies :/

I think a lot of people forget why people choose to be alternative. If you’re alternative and experienced being bullied for your style.. why would you go together as a group and bully someone else for being alternative. It’s just so ironic to me
