Today in 1967, Pink Floyd's debut album, The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn was released (with a US, eponymously named edition coming in October that year, with a revised track list). The front cover was photographed by Vic Singh, and the rear was a drawing by Syd Barrett of a picture taken by Colin Prime in London's Ruskin Park a month earlier.

An advert for the pair of shows at the delightful Chateau de Chantilly, north of Paris, France, in 1994, along with other French gigs. It features an early, alternate version of the Division Bell cover image. The album's cover imagery was a version of a classic optical illusion - two opposing faces which viewed in another way, gives a third, looking straight at the viewer.
