Over the past year I kept asking myself one question: am I building something genuinely needed, or did I just convince myself of an idea I wanted to believe in?
Here’s the thing, when you’re opening something new, following your own vision is often the only thing pushing it forward. Nothing else exists yet
But now, seeing artists daily land their first grants, get into exhibitions, join their first residencies through the ecosystem we’ve spent the last year building and watching 5,000 new artists join us organically in a single month, the hypothesis becomes fact. And that answers the question of why the 15-hour days are worth it. Why this matters
