The first batch of emergency rescue forces, consisting of 141 people, has arrived in the border port of Gyirong, southwest China's Xizang on Thursday morning, after a mudslide struck the port on Wednesday.
Three people had been killed, 558 others remained missing, among which 260 have been identified as foreign nationals, according to Norbu Tsering, the first commander of the on-site headquarters.
