I’m a staaar, baby! Seriously, this post is fucking hilarious. Usually, these kinds of callouts irritate me a bit when I see them (got a lil bit tired over the years), but this one turned out genuinely funny. Some people are hating on me, another group is hating on Khyle, a third group is hating both of us, and a fourth group is shocked to find out I’m a girl. Such a mess😁 I’d like to point out and clarify a few things. I’ve been doing this shit since ~2020-2022 (I don't even remember exactly). This is my new acc my old one basically died bcs of permanent shadowban. I’ve always loved edgy pictures and other regardations - I was just shy at first, but gradually started getting bolder and bolder. My first real "succes" was NTR doujin about Zelda, Link and Shadow Link. And I almost got killed for that ahaha. A ton of artists started drawing memes instead of NSFW or ecchi art not because of Khyle or someone else, but because of Twitter’s changing policies regarding these topics. I think it was 2023, or 2024. Artists had to improvise to keep being horny and fun, because people still love sexy-funny pictures (at least I do). In the exact same way, a massive number of artists are trying out animation right now because of changing algorithms and even harsher "moderation". Animation gives you more freedom; you can play with changing angles, camera shots, etc. For me, animation isn't anything new - I did freelance animation before I started actively drawing for social media. 2d effects and stuff. In fact, I even worked on one of the shorts for the first season of Love, Death & Robots (I even have my own Imdb page, hehe). It was nothing epic tho, just cleaning up animations after senpais, but please let me flex just a bit😁 Khyle is a super cool artist, creator overall, and obviously a wildly popular. I didn't get all they hate towards him, honestly (there were FAR more unhinged and edgy artists on Twitter, I didn't even find him controversial tbh, when so many ppl wanted to lynch his poor ass). But what sets him really apart most of all is his relentless consistency and speed. And that’s why I call him the "Mr. Beast of artists" 😄. And that’s exactly why I muted him a long time ago, and when that stopped helping, I blocked him. Because I don’t want to see his art in my feed every day and influence what I want to do. But reading about stuff like the "Khyle-verse" and claims that he invented funny character gifs genre, types of comedy and all pairings in the world is just laughable at times. Some people fr thinks that gyaku-ntr is invention of recent years 😁 I don’t consider myself some super high-level artist - I envy a massive number of insanely talented artists and I'm constantly learning from them (shoutout to my senpais @Typpo8, @ireading62, @SSAMBAtea and many-many others, especially mangakas), just like anyone else. I’ve drawn for my favorite fandoms for years and I'll keep drawing for any others whenever good ideas pop up. Also I have my own original characters (one for now 😅) that I post regularly (or try to, at least) and that I’m constantly working on, though a lot ends up scrapped/unreleased, unfortunately). Right now, I’m drawing a Frieren doujinshi with a storyline controlled by my patrons (I just want to have fun). So to the people who miss the "old" Snegovski: don't worry, I haven't gone anywhere. And yeah, Frieren is one of the few genuinely active fandoms right now. The rest feel like they've kinda died out - I don't know what the reason is, but it is what it is. So don't be shocked that so many people are making fan art for this anime specifically. Drawing pictures is both my job and my passion, and I don't really know how to do anything else, nor do I want to. And I’ll keep drawing no matter what, even if I can no longer make a living off it.
