Solar & batteries solve energy is a slogan. LCOE often excludes backup generation, long-duration storage, transmission, curtailment & grid stabilization. Panels & batteries require mining, cobalt, lithium, plastics, steel, cement. Lower-carbon than coal? No, Impact-free, cheap - No
But if you can look at that pic and feel good in a Tesla or with funding the CCP, that's on you
