"American companies need a fair playing field.” @evanbeard told @CNBC why the @FCC's ban on new Chinese robots—humanoids, quadrupeds, autonomous mobile robots—is a pivotal moment for U.S. robotics. The action is a forcing function for American manufacturers to build out our domestic robotics supply chain so U.S. industry is more competitive globally. We're ready. We already design nearly every major component ourselves, including our own actuators, and assemble every robot in-house. By 2027, we'll be metal in, robots out, manufacturing everything in America. "500,000 industrial robots were installed worldwide last year. 300,000 in China. The U.S. — a little bit over 30,000. That's pathetic. What's going to happen is that's going to go up like this now because of companies like Standard Bots." Scott Walker, RoboStrategy Research Director Our lead investor @RoboStrategy visited our factory to talk with our CEO @EvanBeard about the future of robotics and why they believe in Standard Bots. h/t @Rewkang

"You can't bolt intelligence onto a machine designed for replay. You must redesign the whole machine for its new job." @RoboStrategy on why legacy robots hit the same ceiling, and why we rebuilt every component from the ground up for AI.

Still feeling the wins of @AutomateShow 2026. Standing-room only keynote for a first-ever live demo. Winner of best-in-class software award for our AI. Finalist for our hardware with Thor, our longest-reach robotic arm. Buzziest booth for live AI demos where visitors learned hands-on just how easy to program — and how capable — Standard Bots robots really are. When you can teach robots just by showing them how it’s done, and unbox and deploy them faster than anything else on the market, you can compete again. AI-native robots are how we compete again. We make robots for those who make America.

“There are many who want to work with the robot now because they don’t have to lift the rolls which weigh 60 lbs, and that helps a lot.” Packaging took up roughly half of EAM-Mosca's operator time — manually picking and packing out 300 coils, 50+ lbs each, in a 12-hour shift. Thor now handles that palletization end-to-end: picking coils off the conveyor and standing by while operators swap pallets. The result: the work is safer, and operators are freed up to focus on quality, not repetitive lifting.

Why have only 6% of U.S. manufacturers adopted robots? Because they've been too hard to use, and not capable enough. Until now. AI-native robots are changing everything. With our newest AI feature ClickFind, you can train your robot in seconds to see and track objects in real-time with just a few taps. Perfect for rapid deployment in high-mix manufacturing environments, no PhD in computer vision required. Watch the live demo from our @AutomateShow keynote and see for yourself.

How do we make robots that every worker can just pick up and use? It starts with simplicity and intelligence. We make AI-native robots so easy to use, they're like the new power tool of the 21st century. Standard Bots CEO @evanbeard sat down with @quentinclark of @generalcatalyst to talk about why empowering workers with AI-native robots is our North Star.

One automation win. Then another. Then another. @EAMMoscaCorp makes the machines that strap and bundle loads across manufacturing facilities — running 24/7, where quality can't slip. They started with one Core robot, automating strap measurement on the line. It worked. So they went further — automating packaging, where operators were manually packing out 300+ coils, 350 lb each, per 12-hour shift. It made the work safer, and freed operators to focus on quality instead. The results spoke for themselves: they added 4 more Thors for every automated line. Next, they’re bringing automation to their manual lines, too. Robots are the future of manufacturing. EAM-Mosca is proof. Watch the full story.

250 years of America in the making. Here's to the next 250. Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸
We make robots for those who make America. Over the last four decades, the U.S. has shed 7 million manufacturing jobs. We offshored our production capabilities piece by piece. The pandemic threw the peril of that dependence into sharp focus. The stark reality today: American manufacturing is no longer competitive globally. Sourcing parts from China and elsewhere is 5-10x cheaper. And it's not just because of lower labor costs, it's because of their national investment in robotics. AI-native robots can help America close that gap. They’re the essential power tool of the 21st century. They're how we become competitive again. But we need to make them here to be resilient. That's why we make all our robots in Glen Cove, New York in our new 70,000 square foot facility. We design almost all our own parts, including our own actuators, and we assemble every final product in-house. And by 2027, we’ll manufacture everything — from metal in to robots out — right here in America.

AI isn't just changing what's possible in robotics — it's shattering it. Standard Bots CEO @evanbeard and Head of AI @leifjentoft showed more than 1,500 people how at @AutomateShow's packed keynote last week during the show's first-ever live demo. What if anyone could prompt their robot like Claude and program an end-to-end routine in seconds? What if robots could see what you see, move like you move, and adjust to variability in real-time? AI-native robots are the essential power tool of the 21st century because they're so much easier to use and much more capable than legacy robots. Watch our full keynote.

Thousands of manufacturers packed our booth and attended CEO @evanbeard's keynote last week at @AutomateShow, the largest automation trade show in North America. We heard over and over again how impressed they were with Standard Bots. Many even said we 'won' the show! The reason is simple: Today's robots are too hard to use, not capable enough, and nearly all manufactured overseas. Standard Bots is America's largest manufacturer of AI-native industrial robots, the essential power tool of the 21st century. We design almost all our own parts, including our own actuators, and we assemble every final product in-house. By 2027, we'll manufacture everything — from metal in to robots out — right here in America. 📸 Ian Storck

Standard Bots won @AutomateShow. Wow, what a show! Ask anyone who was there, we were swamped from start to finish, and for good reason, too! AI-native robots that are easy to use and get more done. That's how we unlock what our industry — and our country — needs next. 🦾 🇺🇸

Robots create jobs. Manufacturers become more competitive when they put robots to work. And competitiveness unlocks company growth, job growth, and wage growth. We must build American robots, and put them to work in American factories. It’s a national imperative, and it’s our central mission. Last year, China installed 9x more robots than the U.S., and more than the rest of the world combined. Meanwhile, America has shed 7 million manufacturing jobs over the past four decades — that’s a 35% decline. We’re no longer competitive globally. The change vector that can close the gap? AI-native robots. They are the essential power tool of the 21st century — and the key to revitalizing our industry. Standard Bots CEO and co-founder @evanbeard is speaking at @reindsummit about how we close that gap and lead.
