bro from first principles the overton window has shifted. that's why im building an AGI startup that's basically the lindy effect but for retardmaxxing. it's high signal bro and with the network effects of bayesian analysis this will hyperscale. we even got into yc bro but we dropped out bc of the low signal we were getting from other yc founders here in sf.

was out getting froyo (frozen yogurt) with some founders in sf (san francisco) last night one of them said he and his team works 996 i told him i remember my first part-time job every other founder laughed hysterically (we were all pretty intoxicated from the sweet sugary toppings of the froyo) he was so embarrassed that he was forced to shut down his startup and move to la, effectively killing his ambition and relegating him to a useless career where he will accomplish nothing i love being the king of sf (i live in sf btw)

only send an investor update when you IPO for $10 billion+ Your investors don't want to hear about the losses
founders: only send investor updates when you're winning. Listen has sent 3 in its history. All fundraise announcements. Nobody reads a bad update and helps. They just mark you as dying.
know a guy who's a "senior GTM engineer" at a startup. he sends cold emails all day.
Is the term "sales" being replaced by "GTM"? Seems kind of bogus frankly.
friend got into yc dropped out day 1 that was his plan all along so much aura in dropping out makes people think you know something no one else does he's already getting calls from huge investors asking if they can invest my friend is a genius

sf is wild man just saw a homeless guy outside an office building asked if he needed breakfast he told me to leave quickly, he's not actually homeless- he's really a sales rep for a b2b saas company looking to overhear conversations from employees leaving the building so he can find some pain point to sell into at these accounts only in sf
