🔎 SUI/USD Perpetuals Incident Recap On June 27th, 2025, a misconfigured update was deployed to the SUI/USD perpetuals pair on Sudo Finance. The Sudo team promptly identified the issue and suspended trading on the affected market. Unfortunately, due to an incorrectly set funding rate, a small number of users were able to profit from the misconfiguration. As the change was not easily reversible, the team made the decision to proactively mitigate further risk by force-closing all open SUI/USD perpetual positions. On June 28th, all existing positions were closed, and the SUI/USD pair was temporarily removed from the platform. To ensure the integrity of the protocol and protect liquidity providers, Sudo has already covered the incurred losses by depositing the affected assets from the team’s treasury. For users negatively impacted by this event, we invite you to contact us via Discord. We are committed to reimbursing any unexpected losses or fees caused by this incident. For users who unintentionally profited from the misconfiguration, we kindly request your cooperation in returning the affected assets.
