NEWS: Elon Musk discussed the taxes he says he pays in a new interview.
For my stock options, I pay about 45% in taxes. Then when I die, there will be another roughly 45% tax. At the end of the day, I'll have about a quarter of what I have.
Musk said his tax burden includes federal income taxes, California state taxes on the time he worked there, and potential estate taxes.
