That doesn't change the fact that you can't compare a juggernaut like Prof Wole Soyinka to Gehgeh. I am not belittling Gehgeh, he has his craft and definitely audience who truly appreciate him and we are grateful for a youth like him. But that said, it is rather condescending to compare A Nobel Laureate who put African Literature on the global map and who has been part of policies that have shaped the generation to the latter. I see people mention his role in cultism, etc but we both know that people who are being rude and condescending to Prof Wole are hinging their opinions based on his political stance. Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinions. But for me as a youth, who has seen how Prof Wole Soyinka is an integral part of Nigeria's history, how he has inspired young people like me, his role in human rights activism and more. His name is is interred in the sands of time, The Hall of Fame is name will be Gehgeh's name can't even make the floor pedestal. We can agree to disagree Thanks.
