At the beginning of 2026, I told myself: THIS IS ENOUGH. I’m 45 years old. I’ve spent more than 30 of those years working on someone else’s time clock. Building someone else’s dream. Working toward someone else’s goals. Living on someone else’s schedule. I decided 2026 was the year I started changing that. It began with one seemingly small decision: I came back to 𝕏. That turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I started posting. Building. Meeting people. Taking chances. Saying yes to opportunities I would’ve talked myself out of a year ago. And somewhere along the way, this stopped being about growing an account. I started a company. I started building products. I started making money from things I created. I started realizing that maybe I don’t have to spend the rest of my working life punching someone else’s clock. Fast forward to today… I’m still on someone else’s time clock. That part of the story hasn’t changed. Yet. But for the first time in more than 30 years, I can see the way out. And I’m building it myself. 2026 isn’t the year I quit my job. It’s the year I stopped accepting that this had to be the rest of my life. 🤘🏻
