One prompt. 5 videos on my TV. I never touched the remote. ๐ชฝ
My Hermes agent now controls my Hisense Roku TV.
I asked for 3 Hermes Agent videos and 2 Omarchy videos. It found them, played each one, and left the last one running.
The surprise: my Roku already had a local-network control API. On my setup, no developer mode or installation on the TV was needed.
Try it on yours:
- Put your computer and TV on the same Wi-Fi.
- Tell Hermes your TV brand and model.
- Ask it to check the documented control method.
- Start with one action, like โopen YouTube.โ
Roku has its own control API. Compatible Android / Google TVs may support ADB over Wi-Fi; setup varies.
Copy this prompt:
โHelp me control my TV. Identify its model and operating system, check the documented connection method, then guide me through setup. Ask which action I want to try first. Get approval before installing anything or changing settings.โ

What would you ask Hermes to do on your TV first?
