A new survey conducted after the Islamist terrorist attack at Berlin Pride found that 51% of Germans no longer believe Germany is a stable and safe country, while only 37% still consider it safe.
The poll also found that 39% of respondents said they feel less safe following the attack, 54% said their sense of security had not changed, and 7% said they now feel safer.

🇵🇱 82 years ago, the Warsaw Uprising began
On August 1st, 1944, The Polish military resistance organization The Home Army (Armia Krajowa) went into battle against the German occupiers.
The signal to begin the uprising was a coded message broadcast over the radio: "It’s raining, it’s pouring."
After 63 days of fighting, more than 200 000 Poles had lost their lives and the Germans proceeded to destroying 90% of the city's buildings.
