$AAPL LAUNCHES NEW SIRI AI WITH PERSONAL CONTEXT Apple has begun rolling out Siri AI in beta with iOS 27, adding personal context across messages, emails and photos, along with onscreen awareness and systemwide app actions. The new Siri can find information across a user’s device, understand what is on screen, draft emails, add calendar events and take actions across supported apps. Apple says the new Apple Intelligence architecture uses its own foundation models built in collaboration with Google and Gemini, with processing split between on-device models and Private Cloud Compute. Siri AI will initially support English on Apple Intelligence-capable devices, including the iPhone 15 Pro and newer. It will not initially be available in the EU on iOS, iPadOS or watchOS, and Siri AI and the new Apple Intelligence features will not be available in China while Apple works through regulatory requirements. Apple also says some server-side AI features will have daily usage limits, with expanded access available for a fee in the future.
