Zcash People: Visionary Cryptographer @ebfull x @TachyonZcash and @ZakuraZcash Sean Bowe is an @Zcash co-founder, cryptographic researcher and protocol developer whose work has shaped several generations of Zcash technology. He developed major parts of Zcash’s early cryptography and organized the Sprout and Sapling trusted setups. He also contributed to the Sapling and Orchard shielded protocols. Sean later discovered Halo, a recursive proof technique that allowed Zcash to remove its dependence on trusted setup ceremonies — a major breakthrough for both Zcash and the wider zero-knowledge field: Now he leads @TachyonZcash - a proposed Zcash shielded protocol designed to address scalability and private wallet synchronization: profile:
