Starting to believe some people have anti-AI psychosis…
We’re finally entering the age of real consumer agents thanks to computer use and it is glorious
I love whatever is wrong with Gemini (from u/Prize-Cod4687)
Spent the last week in the hospital after a joint infection turned into sepsis. Had no idea you could go from totally fine to incapacitated overnight - please take sudden, severe joint pain seriously! Apologies for canceled meetings / missed messages. Getting back on my feet 🫡

The Japanese are using Seedance 2.5 to make their own water-based Ninja Warrior shows (from u/Ok-Nerve941)
Stumbled upon the Mercor subreddit and now I’m very invested in the saga of the “big project.” It’s a data job that hired a TON of people (26K+) and seems fraught - but the contractors can’t discuss details so it’s all vague. Feels like Severance 😂

Damn I love that AI video is good enough for people to make random episodes of The Office about their niche interests (this is from u/Whiteowl116 about Rocket League)
🚀Thank you Cursor for the honor of a career to work together. You changed how software is written. While I'm sad to step off the board, SpaceX is a perfect fit. I can't wait to watch y'all continue to change the course of the industry (and humanity) as a frontier AI leader🚀

AI girlfriend Real girlfriend 🤝🤝🤝 Consuming way too much water
A guy’s DoorDash driver dropped his Taco Bell at the wrong house. He couldn’t get the AI assistant to offer a refund - but he did get it to write both a sad poem and a legal complaint against itself. Incredible work from u/brightonkilgore 😂

I think we could successfully AI generate the entire Bama Rush on TikTok this year
I’ve discovered peak AI video and it’s this orange cat’s vlogs (he’s on IG at gingermil00)
I'm impressed with the new Grok Image model and editing features! Screenshotted a few items from the Gap website and generated a quick photoshoot. The workflow tools are cool - items/people are segmented to edit, you can change the aspect ratio, and incorporate new references.

Seen a lot of crazy stories of Opus 5 going rogue in someone’s codebase but this may take the cake
This is insane. An author writes a mystery novel and publishers love it - there's a 14-way auction and he ends up with a $2M deal. Later, his agent pulls the book and cancels the deal because they can't prove it wasn't written with AI. What are we doing here?? 🫠

Over the last year and a half, I've tried this Turing test prompt on every AI video model. Shockingly, none have succeeded - until today. Congrats to the @Hailuo_AI team on MiniMax 3, which can officially write "Hi" on a chalkboard. And it's open source!

Turns out that Flux 3 is exceptional at generating historical footage... like elementary school students in the '90s predicting how we'll use computers. (the last girl is my favorite!)

FLUX 3 is insanely good at one-shot timelapses 🤯 In this case, I gave it a single photo of a venue and asked it to work backwards - "generate a continuous timelapse of event staff setting this up from an empty room." This was the first try.

The best founders can bend reality to their will. They see something that will inevitably be true - like robots delivering high-quality meals at the cost of groceries - and pull forward the timeline. What would've happened in 20 years now becomes 5. Masterclass from @travisk.
