Tech always seems to find its way to openness as the right solution for innovation, security and competition. Periodically there are hiccups, like crypto export controls, algorithmic copyright, anti-net neutrality, and now banning open weights. But the long arc of the industry has been the right one ... ... it's wonderful to see the momentum shift this way again now. Let's keep pushing.

Wonderful to have a broad base acknowledgement of the need for open weights. We are delighted to support as signatories. Open weights is the key to ensuring security, research, innovation and competition. And let's not confuse misappropriation with openness.

Very impressed with Composer 2.5 after about a day of usage. I've almost moved over to it exclusively from GPT 5.5, even using it for planning now. It's like Opus 4.7 on steroids, crazy fast. Fast models really get me into the flow of building, which is exhilarating. Also, a sneak peek of a weekend mini-project I'm building: a racing game where you race your mouse cursor.

Composer 2.5 is now the most-chosen model in Cursor. We're giving everyone 10x usage for the rest of the day. Enjoy!

Composer 2.5 is a significant step up from Composer 2. This is the very start of our work with SpaceXAI. Hope to have more improvements out soon.

Introducing Composer 2.5, our most powerful model yet. It's more intelligent, better at sustained work on long-running tasks, and more reliable at following complex instructions. For the next week, we’re doubling the included usage of the model.

I can't believe viewing this works at all in AR. The .ply is nearly 600Mb. Incredible.
Really cool seeing this on the quest in mixed reality. I put together a quick demo using WebXR (Three.js), Spark (LoD), and Danny’s raspberry Gaussian splat capture.

This raspberry splat from Dany is incredible. Link to hosted version with @sparkjsdev in reply.
An early beta of Grok Build, an agentic CLI for coding, building apps, and automating workflows is now available for SuperGrok Heavy subscribers. Through this early beta, we will improve the model and product based on your feedback. Try it at

Generate an interactive 3D world ✨ I opened this project in Cursor and uploaded an image of a cozy bookstore. The agent then generated the environment, chose objects to turn into 3D meshes, added colliders, and created sound effects 🤯

Semantically annotating 3D gaussian splats on the fly using gemini 3.1 + sparkjs 1. Load any 3D scene and hit scan 2. Get 2D detections from VLM 3. Cluster outputs & project into 3D world space 4. Save as a persistent 3D semantic layer Inspired by @alexanderchen's experiments with gemini visual intelligence. Just had to try to lift it from 2D to 3D!

Starting today, you can run cloud agents inside fully configured development environments. Set them up the same way you'd set up a laptop for an engineer: cloned repos, installed dependencies, and toolchain credentials.
