China is now dominating the global auto market: China's vehicle exports jumped +68.7% YoY in May, to ~930,000. This is almost +1,100% above levels seen in May 2019. This comes as new EV exports surged +112.6% YoY, to 424,000, accounting for ~46% of the total. As a result, China exported a record 8.6 million vehicles in the 12 months ending May. By comparison, Japan exported just 4.2 million, or -51% fewer, during the same period. To put this into perspective, China exported just 1.0 million vehicles in 2019, while Japan exported 4.8 million, or +380% more. China is now the undisputed leader of the global car market.

Ethereum Long-Term Holders Have Sold Below Cost for 81 Straight Days Ethereum’s long-term holders have now realized losses for 81 consecutive days. Over the same stretch, ETH rose from $1,689 to $2,507, a 48% gain. That rally still has not brought LTH SOPR back above 1. Since Aug. 19, every daily reading has remained below break-even, with a high of 0.9686. The broader market is much closer. Overall SOPR sits at 0.9930, leaving most of the loss-taking concentrated among long-term holders. Only two streaks in ETH’s history lasted longer: 163 days ending in January 2016 and 161 days ending in May 2019. Since 2018, only one other streak has made it past 80 days.

In 2018, actor Isaac Kappy stood before the world and dropped a bombshell that shook Hollywood to its core: "Steven Spielberg is a ped*phile." "I'm not going to talk about Tom Hanks either... who is also a ped*phile. Tom Hanks, folks, is a ped*phile." Then, in May 2019, Isaac Kappy was found dead after jumping from a bridge in Arizona. Officially ruled a suicide. Coincidence? Or the ultimate price for daring to speak the forbidden truth?

Early in 2019, Julia Molchanova opened a credit-monitoring app on her phone. It showed credit cards and spending that she didn’t recognize. She had spent years as one of the young women Jeffrey Epstein called his “assistants,” a cover Molchanova said he used to hide his sexual abuse. She started to suspect that Epstein was also using accounts set up in her name for his own purposes and pushed back for the first time. “I feel uncomfortable to discuss future,” Molchanova wrote to Epstein on April 4, 2019, sweat soaking into her shirt as she nervously typed the message. She told Epstein she didn’t know anything about the accounts and that she wanted to “have my normal life.” In interviews with The Wall Street Journal, Molchanova publicly discussed her ordeal for the first time, revealing that she was the lead Jane Doe plaintiff in a class-action lawsuit against Bank of America. “I’m going forward to prove that women have a voice and the ability to rebuild themselves, move forward and do good things in life,” said the 37-year-old, who recently started a fashion brand and plans to advocate for crime victims. The lawsuit, filed last year, said Jane Doe was abused by Epstein for several years and held accounts at Bank of America that Epstein used to facilitate his sex trafficking. The suit accused the bank of ignoring suspicious transactions. Molchanova said the legal process was grueling, including sharing her private medical history, but she said she feels good knowing it may have spared other victims. “The man was supposed to be in jail. It was the system that failed us,” she said. A federal judge recently approved a $72.5 million settlement with Bank of America that will be distributed to dozens of Epstein victims. The judge said the case “brought actual justice, although partial” for the women. Read more:

Time to pay tribute to a hero you may have never heard of. An American warrior refused to quit after an IED nearly burned him alive in Afghanistan. In December 2005, U.S. Air Force Tactical Air Control Party specialist Israel Del Toro was riding in a Humvee when it struck a roadside bomb in the mountains of Afghanistan. Engulfed in flames, he threw himself into a creek and kept relaying airstrike coordinates for his unit before collapsing. He suffered burns over 80 percent of his body, lost fingers, and spent three months in a coma. Doctors gave him a 15 percent chance of survival and believed he would never walk or breathe without a respirator. Del Toro refused to accept that fate. He endured more than 100 surgeries and years of brutal rehabilitation. In 2010 he made history by becoming the first fully combat-disabled airman to re-enlist in the Air Force. He went on to mentor new tactical airmen, win a gold medal at the Invictus Games, complete his 131st parachute jump, and receive the Pat Tillman Award for Service. He retired in 2019 after 22 years, strictly on his own terms. Israel Del Toro’s story is a reminder of the unmatched resilience of the American warfighter. Real strength is measured by the will to keep fighting long after the body has every reason to quit. #AmericanHero# #Warfighter#
