Tesla Energy is quietly becoming a major piece of the world's energy infrastructure Construction has officially begun on a massive new Tesla Megapack project in Newcastle, Australia 🇦🇺 The Steel River East battery will feature: • 112 Tesla Megapack 2XL units • 200 MW of power • 400 MWh of energy storage • Enough stored energy to supply ~27,000 homes for a day The scale is incredible the Megapacks alone weigh more than 4,000 tonnes combined, with ~2,200 cubic metres of concrete and 200+ tonnes of reinforcing steel going into the site The battery will charge when electricity demand is lower and dispatch energy back to the grid when it's needed most, helping stabilize the grid and support more renewable generation Construction started this month, with operations expected in late 2027 Tesla building the infrastructure that will increasingly power entire cities

GOOD NEWS 🇺🇸 Tesla Energy’s domestic battery supply chain in the US is set for a massive boost 🔥 A report from The Elec confirmed that Samsung SDI is reviving its Synergy Cells project in Indiana as a wholly owned site, completely pivoting away from EV cells to go all-in on large-format LFP batteries for stationary energy storage. The plant is slated to launch in the second half of 2028, with talks already underway to pull production forward by a quarter, delivering over 10 gigawatt-hours per line with Tesla lined up as the prime customer. This creates a formidable dual-factory pipeline in Indiana dedicated to feeding Tesla's storage ramp. Synergy Cells will join StarPlus Energy (SPE) Plant 1 in Kokomo, where line two of three converted LFP lines is scheduled to begin rolling out large-format prismatic ESS cells specifically for Tesla in the first half of next year. The scale here is substantial: converting SPE Plant 1 to LFP pushes total site capacity from 33 gigawatt-hours to around 40 gigawatt-hours. Samsung SDI is funding this multi-trillion-won expansion partly through the 4.45 trillion won sale of its Samsung Display stake, anchoring a massive capital expenditure push of roughly 4 trillion won next year to lock down American grid-scale demand.

AI scales with energy.....and Tesla is building the battery infrastructure to support that scale Megapacks are becoming the foundation for energy abundance Tesla is now building them at Megafactories in California, Texas and Shanghai, while deployments have expanded across 65+ countries worldwide The scale is already massive: • 77+ GWh of Megapack storage operating globally • 99.3% fleet uptime • Lathrop Megafactory: ~40 GWh/year capacity • Texas Megafactory: designed for ~50 GWh/year of Megapack 3 • Tesla deployed another 13.5 GWh of energy storage in Q2 alone As AI compute, data centers and electrification keep scaling, generating energy is only half the problem You also need to store enormous amounts of it and deliver it exactly when the grid needs it That is where Megapack becomes critical The future is electric

wonder how much energy storage is in those actuators and that constant foot strike frequency The human was trying though, but he never had a chance once it started.
