The U.S. has secured its largest-ever HALEU fuel shipment, working in partnership with Japan. This significant transfer advances President Trump’s strategy to restore America's energy dominance and power next-generation nuclear reactors.

This week, @ActinideInc became the first startup in history to enrich uranium, producing HALEU, the fuel for next-gen and small modular reactors. We did it using Endurance, a particle accelerator that we designed and built in Texas. Endurance usually produces enriched Yb-176, a precursor for cancer therapies worth roughly $30,000 per gram. After a bulk Yb-176 delivery on July 30, we reconfigured Endurance for uranium.

The next generation of nuclear energy must deliver dependable power where continuity matters most. That’s why we’re excited to announce that the @ENERGY has conditionally selected Radiant to receive a second allocation of high-assay low-enriched uranium, or HALEU. The allocation is intended to fuel Radiant’s microreactor for the Department of the Air Force’s Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora, Colorado, which will be delivered by 2028. Radiant was the sole private-sector recipient selected in DOE’s third round of HALEU allocations, alongside NASA. Read more below.

We were in southern Ohio with @Centrus_Energy and local stakeholders, marking a major step forward for Oklo’s plans for a 1.2 GW Clean Energy Campus powered by our Aurora powerhouses. Fuel availability has been a key bottleneck for advanced nuclear, so locking in domestic HALEU from Pike County is a critical step in Oklo’s vertically-integrated, fuel to power model while creating new private investment and jobs in Ohio.

Jefferies Initiates Coverage on $LEU with Hold Rating, PT $169 Analyst comments: "LEU offers long-dated optionality on the U.S. nuclear fuel supply rebuild without taking reactor construction risk. Its U.S.-origin centrifuge platform, NRC-licensed HALEU capability, DOE support, and $3.9bn backlog position it for domestic LEU/HALEU growth. The shares appear to discount a successful ramp by 2030; upside hinges, in our view, on capturing upside if the LEU/HALEU market is tighter in the 2030s. Centrus is transitioning from a nuclear fuel supplier and technical-services provider into a strategic U.S. enrichment platform. The core long-term thesis is not near-term earnings, which remain lumpy, but whether LEU can convert its unique sole-source U.S.-origin technology, NRC-licensed HALEU position, DOE-backed deployment work, and contingent commercial backlog into scaled domestic LEU/HALEU capacity.
