🚒 CAL FIRE continues to aid in firefighting efforts beyond California. Through our State-to-State Mutual Aid Agreement, CAL FIRE has deployed more than 100 ground personnel to Nevada to support firefighting efforts on the Hawk Fire. 🔥 Additionally, CAL FIRE provided four night-vision helicopters, which have delivered more than 200,000 gallons of water throughout the incident. CAL FIRE’s McClellan Airtanker Reload Base also served as a refueling station for several large and very large airtankers supporting firefighting operations. As of this morning, the Hawk fire has burned approximately 15,000 acres and remains 0% contained. LIVE FROM RENO 🔥: The Hawk Fire has scorched more than 15,000 acres near Reno, Nevada, prompting evacuation warnings for tens of thousands of residents. Officials say 47 homes and one commercial building have been destroyed, while eight other homes sustained significant damage. FOX Weather Senior Correspondent @RobertRayWx reports from the fire zone with the latest.

Thousands of people have been evacuated in Reno, Nevada, as a fast-moving wildfire closed in on the city on Sunday. The so-called Hawk Fire has grown to 13,000 acres and threatened hundreds of homes. At least 200 new fires also erupted nationwide this weekend. CBS News’ @JonVigliotti has more.
