The Cybercabs everywhere reminds me of the Cybertruck delivery event. Back then, Cybertrucks were rare to see. But walking into GigaTexas, we saw Cybertrucks EVERYWHERE. It was crazy. But now seeing a Cybertruck is nbd I think this is what next week will be like - can't wait.

Giga Texas’s Test Track is operational with Cybercabs driving on it today! This video clip is from Nate @StarbaseBrewing and shows two Cybercabs using the track … view from the ground slightly obstructed by trees and vegetation, but I hear many Cybercabs have been using the track today. The photo is from the air and made by @AirwaveDynamics recently to show the current state of construction. Much of the road surfaces are now paved and marked,m along with rumble strips on the central straight section. More work remains to finish the track, but nice to see it in action. I’ll be flying on Wednesday after the rains leave the area and I get back on schedule after returning home after 2 weeks in Europe. In the meantime, check this out!

The Giga Texas outbound lot is really busy today with many @cybertruck being processes & arriving throughout my time flying today and several groupings of Cybercabs & Model YLs too! Check out this short video clip showing what the site looked like today … just about 2 weeks until the end of the quarter and it looks like production is quite healthy & anecdotally, I’ve heard deliveries are also quite strong too. Will it be a record quarter? Just 2 weeks left to find out!

The Giga Texas Optimus Factory construction progress is truly remarkable to watch as the steel structure expands to fill in the large foundation, with some footing & perimeter beam construction on the S end still underway. Looking inside the structure, many sections of concrete flooring on the three upper levels (not counting the ground floor) have been poured while crews continue assembling more rebar on the floor decking ahead of even more concrete pours to come. I expect the ground floor will be completed a little later on. The east side of the structure continues to appear like it may be a more open part of the factory, with long steel roof trusses (also called lattice roof trusses, open-web roof trusses, or steel truss girders) positioned to fill the ~ 3 column grid widths, possibly an “atrium” area or perhaps two tall floors. This could be the “front” of the structure, but without a rendering, it’s speculation right now. On the as end, what may be casting machine foundations are finishing up basic footing construction so I’m keeping an eye on this work … I am expecting IDRA Giga casting machine arrival in a few more months, so will try to track these as well.
