BlockRun is building a useful link between AI work and payments. Its open-source ClawRouter chooses an AI model for each request, aiming to avoid paying for an expensive model when a cheaper one can do the job. The model choice happens on your machine. Requests then go through BlockRun, with an option to pay per request in dollar stablecoins on Base or Solana. There is attention beyond the team's own posts. ClawRouter has about 6.6K GitHub stars. Circle also described demos at a developer event with BlockRun, Dynamic and Fireblocks. That puts it on my technology watchlist. My next test is whether outside developers keep using it and get useful work done at a lower total cost. A cheaper answer that needs three retries may cost more.
