- the number of criticals found across all contest platforms after multiple trad audits, probably saving billions in user funds
- the countless SRs who started with contests and now have founded/joined top tier firms providing security reviews for leading protocols (e.g @PashovAuditGrp and @trust__90)
there's no doubt that the second order consequences from having open security audit contests are the primary reason why the rate of defi hacks is decreasing.
