Shawn Ryan Cowan, 46, of Hamilton, and previously convicted of multiple felonies, was sentenced to federal prison for unlawfully possessing a firearm.
A tip to law enforcement led to a search of his home were 10 firearms and various types of ammunition were located.
His previous convictions include aggravated kidnapping, burglary and possession of dangerous drugs.
