Following our agreement to acquire @Globalstar, we've filed with the @FCC to deploy the Leo D2D System—up to 5,105 new satellites that will bring voice, data, messaging, and emergency services directly to compatible mobile devices. The new system is a core part of our long-term vision for Amazon Leo, bringing high-speed connectivity to more people in more places around the world.

.@AmazonLeo and @hero_telecoms just signed an agreement to bring fast, reliable satellite internet to areas of South Africa where existing broadband can’t reach. The service is called Evry, and it will be offered by Herotel and powered by Leo.

29 more satellites deployed, adding to the 350+ already in orbit. Congrats to our @AmazonLeo teams and @ulalaunch.
Last few launches were big for @AmazonLeo - bringing us to 390+ satellites deployed, enough to support continuous service across initial latitudes.
Still lots of work ahead – including raising all these new satellites to their assigned altitude – but we’ve completed enough launches for initial service this yr, and future missions just add coverage and capacity.
Thanks @ulalaunch Atlas V for getting us to this point. Ready for 40+ sat launches on Vulcan.

Deployment confirmed.
Atlas V has completed its final mission for Amazon Leo, and we've established contact with all 29 satellites in low Earth orbit.
Next up with @ULAlaunch: The first of 38 Leo missions on its new Vulcan rocket, which will carry 40+ satellites per launch and support a higher cadence of Leo missions from SLC-41.

.@HitachiCME will use Amazon Leo to connect remote construction sites across the UK and Germany.
Hitachi is the first construction machinery manufacturer to use Leo, and with a global network running on @AWS, will be able to use the service to move data directly from remote sites to existing cloud resources.

LE-03 deployment confirmed.
Today's mission with @Arianespace sent another 36 Leo satellites into space–the heaviest commercial payload ever launched–and all spacecraft are in contact and operating nominally on orbit. Three Ariane 6 missions completed in less than five months, bringing our total constellation to 350+ satellites.

Leo Europe 3 (LE-03) is targeting Jun 17 at 7:53 a.m. ET/11:53 a.m. UTC for liftoff from Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana. This is our third Ariane 6 mission and our largest Ariane 6 payload to date, with 36 satellites launching using upgraded P160C solid rocket boosters.
With more than 300 satellites already deployed, LE-03 will mark 100 launched with @Arianespace as we continue scaling deployment ahead of an initial service rollout later this year.
