Today’s vote to advance the CLARITY Act to the Senate floor is a turning point for US market structure and a blueprint for the world. Last June, I testified before the House Agriculture Committee on the urgent need for clear market structure. I was honored to have that perspective included in the committee's official CLARITY Act report. Builder input should help define this framework and there's still work ahead to get the details right. Post 10/10, it’s clear that resilience isn't enough. We need a defined environment that can support institutional and mass consumer scale. Just as AI has redefined productivity in our everyday lives, blockchain must do the same for how we exchange and trade assets. CLARITY and ensuing DeFi regulation will eventually be key catalysts for major financial adoption of blockchain technology for the masses.
