All year long we heard “we’ll get to the SAVE America Act when we have time,” realizing it would likely take a few weeks.
We waited patiently while fully funding DHS and addressing other priorities, expecting to return to it when time allowed.
It’s now August, and we’ve already taken more recess weeks this year than I can count.
There are 21 weeks remaining in 2026, and approximately 14 of them will be spent with the Senate in recess.
Why?
These few weeks in August offer what could be the perfect chance to return to the SAVE America Act and debate the bill until it passes.
We should be doing precisely that.
Frankly, we should have done it months ago.
That’s why I objected to recess and voted against it.
Unfortunately, I and those who joined me in opposing it were far outnumbered—with all Democrats and most Republicans preferring to take yet another lengthy recess, this time until September 14th.
Lost opportunity.

Asking the Senate to SAVE America—by securing our elections—is not too much to ask
Let’s get that done before any recess
This could be the platform for a political party👇
Republicans backing Talarico—“because he’s a good guy”—should reconsider
James Talarico says the Bible demands government-run health insurance:
If you read the New Testament, what does Jesus spend most of his time doing? It's not preaching. It's not teaching. It is healing. Healing the sick.
And in Matthew 25, scripture says that's how we will be judged and how we will be saved.

News Flash:
The filibuster is not about protecting bipartisanship
It never has been
It’s about protecting robust debate
But it now undermines debate
You can’t be “supportive of everyone” in sports if you’re not willing to stand up for women—and say that men shouldn’t compete in women’s sports
Portland Fire head coach Alex Sarama is asked his stance on biological males playing in women's sports and does not give a straight answer. The question comes with the Fever in town as a rally in support of Sophie Cunningham's stance on the issue goes on outside the arena.

U.S. elections should never operate solely on “the honor system”
That’s why the Senate should not recess before passing the SAVE America Act
‘It’s the honor system’: New Jersey's noncitizen voter registration brings private worries into the open
WNBA coach says she’s not qualified to say whether men should play in women’s sports
She should be fired
This is embarrassing...
Fever coach Stephanie White was asked her stance on males competing in women’s sports.
Her answer: “I wouldn’t really say that I’m educated enough from a scientific standpoint.”
You’re a professional coach… and you claim you don’t know the difference between a male and a female?
These woke idiots have destroyed this league.

Imagine if Fauci were a Republican
Enough said
But … we must do this
But Dan, noncitizen voting never happens
Because it’s already illegal
That thing that Senator Lee has been warning us all about— and that liberals tell us never occurs— is finally being exposed as very much happening.
We must pass the SAVE America Act if we want our elections to be secure.
Any Republican who opposes it should be primaried.

He’s not wrong

I wish the Republican senators who are so worked up over Todd Blanche’s confirmation would put the same energy into passing the SAVE America Act and a third reconciliation bill.
It’s time to cancel August recess and get the job done.

“USAID was a U.S. taxpayer-funded slush fund for the radical left.”

(1) How many *other* families have jobs because Mark Zuckerberg made that money—and did so with the understanding that it would be his?
(2) That’s his money, not the government’s.
But countless others still benefit from it.
Don’t take that away.

The filibuster’s no longer about protecting debate
It’s now just a 60-vote supermajority requirement
Senators can stop a bill without ever speaking on the Senate floor
Rather than ensuring debate, the filibuster now makes debate obsolete
We should either restore it or nuke it

When there’s a bill that’s supported by 85% of American voters—including 95% of Republicans and 71% of Dems—we shouldn’t have to beg and plead with Senate GOP leadership to help advance it
Nor should it be an excuse that “we don’t [yet] have 60 votes”

New Jersey’s motor voter law—like its federal counterpart, the NVRA—makes it almost impossible to stop noncitizens from registering to vote:
“There’s little to stop noncitizens from registering to vote if they want to, or even by mistake.”
We must pass the SAVE America Act.
