Let’s get this straight: Dario’s position is that we face an imminent crisis so dire we need a globally orchestrated government pause in innovation that he personally approves, yet he concedes it will take years to produce.
How unserious can one be? This is clearly naked opportunism, not moral clarity.
What is actually happening is that Dario is trying to blackmail democratic bodies into building a regulatory moat around his power-hungry leftist company. It’s not only dishonest, it’s un-American.
Time for Dario to put up or shut up.

Then do it! These guys are all so dishonest.
They run privately held companies. If they truly believe there are unmanageable and catastrophic safety risks, then pause. You don’t need legislation to pause development.
Pause pushing the technological frontier, pause launching new products, and pause the IPO timelines.
Investigate the risks, build the mechanisms to ensure safe deployment, and cut the shit.
But they won’t.
They won’t because it’s not about safety, it’s about profits and control. They want government intervention, but not for safety—that’s just the convenient Trojan horse. They want it to build a moat around their lucrative wealth and insatiable thirst for power. No thanks!

President Trump is exactly right. American innovation is critical, but our lead is delicate. America wins when America is unleashed. Thank you, President Trump!
Who supports the deal: 70%+ of America and the those who stood loyally by President Trump’s side from 2020-2024.
Who opposes the deal: Those who argued publicly in November 2022, “Dear President Trump: Please don’t run again.”
