Sharing a fun new skill/tool I built that helps me make videos for a variety of purposes. You have your coding agent install the skill, and then it writes react code to generate the video. It supports music composition as well as narration. I use it for making videos about products or tools we build or creating videos for myself to learn new things (IE, make a video of this ML paper).

Time to start playing my Switch while I ride the stationary bike! But seriously, it’s great to see studies like this. Video Games define many aspects of who I am today. I wish I had more time to play.
Would be really interesting to see this broken down by type of game. Ie to mobile F2P have the same effect?

What does the future look like for engineering org leaders and big teams? What questions do you have?
For the last decade of my career, I’ve been an organizational leader, running teams of various sizes along with being in the code/software to varying degrees. I now spend most of my time building. The transition from running large orgs to building was easier than you might think.
I recently did some private writing on what I think the future holds for large teams and organizational leaders. A lot of this is informed by my personal experience of transitioning through different roles. I plan to share thoughts here - some will be spicy. If there is a particular question you’re interested in, I would love to share thoughts on it as well!

1/ My daughter loves cats and minecraft. So would do I naturally do? I ask her to describe a cat themed minecraft game and put Opus (yes, Opus - seems like the only thing it can do is make games) to build one she can play on her iPad.
